Keep or Cut ("we", "the game") is a football decision game. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

What we collect

Gameplay data — your picks, scores, streaks, and results, stored against a random per-device identifier so features like head-to-head matches and streaks work without an account.
Account data (optional) — if you choose to save your stats, we store your email address (or the email from your Google sign-in) and your chosen handle. That's it — no passwords exist in our system.
Local storage — your device keeps your settings, handle, and recent games in browser storage so the game loads instantly and works offline.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share your personal information with data brokers.
We don't track you across other websites or apps.
We never see or store your card details. Keep or Cut Pro ($2.99, one time) is processed entirely by Stripe, Google Play, or Apple — we only receive a yes/no that it was paid.

Advertising

The free version is supported by ads. Our advertising partners (Google AdSense on the web, Google AdMob in the apps) may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, or remove ads entirely with Keep or Cut Pro.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland: we do not serve third-party ads to you at all. No advertising SDK is loaded and no advertising identifier is used — you'll see only our own in-house promos for Keep or Cut. We made this choice deliberately rather than ask you to consent to tracking. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this page before any third-party ad loads.

Emails

If you sign in with email, we send a one-time code via our email provider (Resend). We don't send marketing email.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account and data yourself, at any time, with no email required: open 📊 Stats → Delete account in the game and confirm. This immediately and permanently removes your account, your saved games, your stats, and your analytics events.

Matches you played against other people are kept so your opponent doesn't lose their own history — but your name and every identifier are stripped from them, and they show only as “(deleted)”.

You can also request deletion from the web, without opening the app, at keeporcutsports.com/delete-account.html.

Children

The game is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll note it here with a new "last updated" date.
